HUBS AND SPINNERS

Bush Aero distribute both standard and large hubs for all types of Rotax engines. We also supply hubs for SAE-1, SAE-2, and Jabiru engines, for 2, 3, 4 and 6 blade propellers. The standard hub pictured on the left below is a 75mm dividing circle diameter hub for a Rotax engine, while the larger hubs are 101.6mm. These hubs are made from aluminium alloy (2024T).

Spinners are strongly recommended to enhance aesthetics and performance of aircraft. We have 2 sizes of fiberglass spinners;

Small - 205mm diameter, 220mm length (for 2 and 3 blade props)
Large - 265mm diameter, 290mm length (for 2, 3, 4 and 6 blade props)

Spinners also provide additional protection for VPP hub bearings from water and dust. They are available in black or white (covered with a special compound) and by special order, they can be made of carbon fibre with a transparent coating.

These spinners are lightweight at 500g (small) and 650g (large). They are not only compatible with Meglin propellers but also some other prop brands. Feel free to contact us for more details.
